The Deep North will not share .mp3 file's at any bitrate higher than 128kbps, unless consent has been given by the Artist(s) themselves to do so, or unless the file has previously been publically offered for free by the Artist(s) at a higher bitrate elsewhere.

The Deep North will not share more than half of a release (ex. More than 50% of the songs) on any single post, anywhere on the site.  Furthermore, direct links to a digital retailer where the original release is being sold at full 320kbps quality will always be posted along with any material shared on the website, whenever possible.

The Deep North staff is always available to work with featured Artists to make sure that their work is promoted in accordance with their personal wishes and in their best interests whenever possible.  If your work has been posted on our site, please let us know how we can best present the material so that it meets your personal preferences and has your best interests in mind.

The Deep North strongly urges it's readers to purchase music and support the Artist(s) featured by buying their music and art lawfully as we do ourselves whenever possible.  However, we believe that music should be accessible to those looking to hear it, and that all promotion is good promotion as long as it is done with the Artists best interests in mind.
